1. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to the Moonwave app and website. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the service. If you cannot enter into an agreement on your own, use the service only with any authorization required by the laws that apply to you.
2. What the service provides
Moonwave provides ambient sounds, sound mixes, focus timers and scheduled reminders for personal relaxation and everyday routines. It is not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment or emergency service. Sleep goals are preferences used to organize recommendations, not a medical assessment. Hydration and activity reminders are timers, not measurements of your health or physical activity. Notification delivery may be delayed or blocked by device settings, browser restrictions, battery management or network conditions.
3. Safe and permitted use
Use a comfortable listening volume and remain aware of your surroundings. Do not use the service in a way that distracts you while driving or carrying out hazardous activities. Do not attack the service, bypass access controls, abuse resources or use it unlawfully. You may stop playback and stop using the service at any time.
4. Content and custom scenes
The app, website and provided media remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. Access to Moonwave does not grant permission to resell, redistribute or publish individual audio or image files separately. Use downloads only within the permissions provided by the app and the applicable content rights. You retain rights you have in photos or other material you select; only use material you are authorized to use. Current custom scenes and selected photos are stored locally rather than shared publicly by Moonwave.
5. Fees and future paid features
The current release does not process subscription payments. Membership screens or preview access do not by themselves create a paid subscription. If paid features are introduced, their price, billing period, renewal, cancellation and applicable refund conditions will be presented before purchase. We will not treat use of a free feature as consent to a charge. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for data used to stream or download content.
6. Availability, changes and responsibility
We may update features, replace media or temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security or legal reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or any particular sleep, focus or health result. Keep your own copies of important personal material: clearing browser or app storage, uninstalling or switching devices may remove local records. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Privacy, updates and contact
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may revise these terms and will update the effective date, with additional notice where required. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or remove rights granted by applicable law.
